This year changes have been made to some award categories to further enhance and simplify the entry process. The “Welfare, Health, Safety, Education & Training”, and “Small Business Ventures / Projects and Reports” categories have been split into
sub-categories. The “Control Systems” category
has been modified to “Control Systems and Communications” and a new category, “Software and Embedded Systems” has been added. At the 2007 Awards Evening, 50 finalists were acknowledged, with 13 Excellence and 13 Highly Commended awards presented in front of an audience of over 600 people. I encourage you
to place an entry this year to enable recognition of your organisations innovation, expertise and commitment to engineering excellence, and be part of the growing exposure of the Engineering Excellence Awards and the engineering profession.
